In order to keep our skip bin pricing to you as low as possible we need to find out some basic information from you:

• Delivery suburb (pricing will vary slightly depending on distance from the Recycling & Resource recovery centre).
• Type of waste being paced in the skip bin – Please see our discount structure below.
• Time skip bin is required on site (periods greater than 7 days incur a weekly skip bin hire surcharge)

Eastern States on line skip bin booking services that may quote prices. They are not governed by WA Laws & there is little come back in the event of a problem.

Also confirm the actual physical measurements of your skip bin in comparison to The Bin Guys skip bin sizing, as ours are generally bigger!!

Please ensure all fees are added to the skip bin price like ours for a comparable quote & confirm the actual dimensions of the skip bin as bin sizes do vary.

Our Skip bin quote to you will be all inclusive so you know what your final cost is upfront. Our fees include:

• Delivery & pick up
• Waste disposal & tipping costs
• Full 7 days skip bin rental (can be picked up earlier if required)
• State Government environment waste levy (currently $12 per cubic metre)
• GST

We Recycle what materials we can to prevent waste going to land fill & pass the savings on to you.

Clean Concrete

For skip bins that will contain clean broken or cut concrete not larger than 750mm x 750mm (no reinforcing steel – small mesh ok) LESS THAN 2% CONTAMINATION WITH SAND – NO OTHER WASTE ALLOWED IN BIN IN ORDER TO RECEIVE DISCOUNT

Some examples are:

• Concrete kerbing & footpaths
• Concrete driveways
• Garden & garage shed pads

Clean Concrete Products

For skip bins that will contain clean broken or cut concrete not larger than 750mm x 750mm (no reinforcing steel – small mesh ok) LESS THAN 2% CONTAMINATION WITH SAND – NO OTHER WASTE ALLOWED IN BIN IN ORDER TO RECEIVE DISCOUNT

Some examples are:

• Concrete pavers
• Concrete paving slabs (photo of concrete pavers to be attached) 15% discount off our standard skip bin price
• Concrete roof tiles

Clean Clay Bricks & Products

For skip bins that will contain clean broken or cut clay products. Bricks must not have cement render attached – some mortar is ok. LESS THAN 2% CONTAMINATION WITH SAND – NO OTHER WASTE ALLOWED IN BIN IN ORDER TO RECEIVE DISCOUNT

Some examples are:

• Clay bricks
• Clay Pavers
• Clay Roof tiles

Clean Scrap Steel

Depending on the quantity being disposed of & the type of steel, you bin may even be free!! Items such as pushbikes & whitegoods require removal of all plastic & glass before being recycled. Alternately you can drop off steel items such as whitegoods for free at our recycling & resource recovery centre at 9 Rodgers way Landsdale.

Some examples are:

Old colour bond fencing Carports & pergola's Car body panels Gym sets, pushbikes, exercise bikes

White goods such as fridges & ovens Barbeques & hotplates Metal colour bond roofing Outboard motors & car engines.

Clean Sand

Exactly that, no grass, weeds, rocks, limestone or clay. NO OTHER WASTE ALLOWED IN BIN IN ORDER TO RECEIVE DISCOUNT

• CLEAN SAND FILL

Green Waste

For skip bins that contain green waste only such as tree pruning’s, branch’s & off cuts etc.

There is a strict no contamination policy with this discount.

The machinery that is used is expensive & contaminants will damage the mulching chipping knives.

• No sand.
• No root material.
• No palm material (palm is actually a grass & does block up the mulcher)
• No tree trunks with roots attached.
• No Grass or weeds.
• No green waste mixed with chicken mesh & or wire such as vines or climbers.
• No plastic mesh with green waste such as vines or climbers.
• No trunk or branch greater than 40 cm in diameter.
• No trunk or branch longer than 2400mm.

In order to try & keep our prices cheap & affordable for you, We need you to help us.

Our discount means less on site sorting at our recycling centre for materials that can be recycled. (we save means you save)

Please inform your workers, mates & or contractors that you have helping you, that you are receiving a discount for your waste.

In order for you to receive your discount – all rubbish must be kept out of the skip bin apart from your recyclable material.

Please refrain from placing plastic water bottles, beer bottles, lunch wrappers etc in with your waste as your discount will become null & void for contaminants.

Our trucks all have GPS trackers in them so we can show definitive proof should you dispute the quality of your recyclable waste.

Your waste will be photographed & you will be charged our standard skip bin price.

We don’t like enforcing rules – What we are trying to is create cheap, affordable skip bin hire at discount pricing to you our customer.

WHEN SIZE IS IMPORTANT !!

It costs money to dispose of waste – no surprise there really……………… so why do some skip bin companies deceive their customers on what size waste bin they are actually receiving & paying for?

Answer? - The waste disposal company receives an advantage by cheaper tipping costs as the skip bin is smaller than quoted, not to mention less fuel & overall operating costs.

In order to gain your “valued” business it is very easy to quote a skip bin as being “X” amount of cubic metres capacity – especially when you cant see the skip bin over the phone or when booking online.

It happens more often than you think, with some companies having bins that are up to 20% smaller than advertised & promoted !!

The size of the waste bin you pay for should be as if you filled the skip bin with water – or very close to it.

When confronted these companies often say “we allow for overfilling as no one fills to the top of the skip bin” – this is highly dangerous & illegal under the road traffic act, not to mention deceptive to you - the purchaser.
